The Health Department recommends annual checking and cleaning of water tanks. It is essential that your water tank is cleaned regularly to eliminate any chances of contaminated water. Water tanks are a breeding ground for bacteria and other microorganisms. If your water tank is not cleaned and maintained regularly, it could cause major health hazards for your household.

We remove 100% of the sludge and sediment from your tank.
Your water tank is drained, vacuumed and scrubbed. Leaving your water tank clean and sparkling.
We need a small amount of water available in the water tank to allow suction to work.
We will need access to power.
The water tank is left empty in this process. Please arrange for your local water carrier to deliver water once complete.
A full water tank clean can take up to 1-2 hours.
WATER TANK REPAIRS.
Concrete water tanks are an expensive asset. If left unattended, hairline cracks can turn into bigger problems over time. These small leaks turn into bigger splits, rendering your water tank completely useless. We provide repairs for all concrete and block water tanks.
HOW DO WE REPAIR WATER TANKS.
We can repair any cracks, seeps and holes that cause water leakage and loss with specialised cement-based products.
We’ll drain the water tank, once the tank is empty, we water-blast the interior and exterior of the tank. Extract the water from the tank. Scrub the floor and all walls to see exactly where the cracks are located.
Chip off any compromised concrete if applicable.
Apply cement plaster mixture to repair the interior and/ or exterior cracks.
Apply reinforcing mesh where applicable.
Apply a cement wash / water proof sealant to the interior, along with a lime lock coat to the exterior of the tank if applicable.
If continuous water supply is required, a temporary water tank of 1000 litres will be supplied and connected to your pump.
